Frequently Asked Questions
What is the yacht investment project in Croatia about?
The project involves a group investment in modern sailing yachts or catamarans, which are then chartered to tourists in Croatia. Rental income generates regular profits that are proportionally distributed among the investors.
What is the minimum investment threshold?
The minimum investment amount is €10,000. You can invest multiples of this sum, thereby increasing your share in the profits.
What are the projected returns on investment?
The potential annual return is up to 12%. The profit depends on the seasonal occupancy of the yacht, which is monitored by a professional charter operator.
Who manages the yacht charter?
The operational rental is managed by a renowned Croatian charter company with over 30 years of experience and a fleet of more than 300 yachts. This ensures that investor assets are managed by professionals.
Is the investment safe?
Yes, each investment is legally secured by registering a mortgage on the purchased yacht. This means the invested capital is backed by a tangible asset.
Is the yacht insured?
Yes. The yacht is covered by comprehensive insurance, which includes both physical damage and an additional policy protecting investors from loss of charter income.
What is the investment duration?
The standard investment period is 72 months (6 seasons). After 24 months, investors have the option to exit the investment free of charge by transferring rights to another investor.
Can I exit the investment early?
After 24 months, the investor can opt to assign the agreement — transferring their rights and obligations to another investor at no additional cost.
How is the investment settled?
Each investor receives access to an individual online investment panel, where regular rental reports and profit calculations based on their share are published.
When are profits paid out?
Charter profits are paid once a year, after the end of the full sailing season and settlement of revenues by the charter company.
What is the step-by-step investment process?
1. Investment declaration and a reservation deposit of 10% of the declared amount.
2. After raising the required funds, the yacht is purchased.
3. Investors sign notarized investment agreements and make the full payment.
4. The yacht is handed over to the charter operator.
5. The charter season begins, followed by annual settlements with investors.
Where will the yacht be stationed?
The yacht will be based in one of Croatia’s popular marinas, ensuring high tourist interest and strong seasonal occupancy.
Do I sign an investment agreement?
Yes. Each investor signs an investment agreement in the form of a notarial deed, providing additional legal security for the transaction.
Do I have to be present in person to sign the agreement?
Personal presence is not required. It is possible to sign via a proxy, and the entire process can also be conducted remotely if agreed with the project organizers.
Can I track yacht occupancy?
Yes. Yacht occupancy data and charter revenues will be provided in regular online reports, so each investor can continuously monitor the investment’s progress.
Who can invest?
The project is open to individuals and legal entities with a minimum of €10,000 in free capital and an interest in alternative, profitable investments backed by real assets.
Can I invest from abroad?
Yes. The investment is open to individuals from across the EU and other countries — provided that KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures are fulfilled.
Can I use the yacht as an investor?
Currently, the project does not offer free use of the yacht to investors. However, special discounts for private rental may be available to project participants.
Can I invest through a company?
Yes. You can invest either as a private individual or through a limited liability company. The investment agreement will be adapted to the legal form of the investor.
Who is behind the project?
The project is managed by a team of experienced professionals from the investment and sailing industries. Our goal is to create secure and profitable investment models based on real assets such as charter yachts.
